Cairo Overday Tour from Hurghada by Flight

Tour Overview

Spend a full day in Cairo without the long road transfer. Fly from Hurghada in the morning, explore Egypt’s most famous ancient sites with a certified Egyptologist, and fly back the same evening.

The day covers the Giza Plateau and a museum visit in Cairo. You can stay with the classic Egyptian Museum or upgrade to the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM). Lunch at a local restaurant is included.

What you will see

1) Pyramids of Giza  

Stand on the Giza Plateau at the last surviving Wonder of the Ancient World. See the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the Pyramid of Khafre, and the Pyramid of Menkaure, with open views across the plateau.

2) Great Sphinx of Giza  

Visit the Sphinx, the limestone guardian with a lion’s body and a pharaoh’s face, set against the pyramids behind it.

3) Museum in Cairo  

The Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) — the world’s largest archaeological museum, with major ancient works shown in a new setting beside the plateau.

Lunch in Cairo  

A freshly prepared lunch at a selected local restaurant is included between visits.

Flights and transfers

- Domestic flight Hurghada–Cairo, about one hour each way  

- Morning flight out, evening flight back  

- Hotel pickup in Hurghada is included, around 05:00 AM  

- Airport transfers in both cities are arranged  

- Guests in El Gouna or Makadi Bay pay an extra transfer fee of €10 per person  

- After the evening return to Hurghada (around 09:00 PM), the hotel drop-off is included
